Thomas E. Digby, M.D.
Dr. Digby is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is on the Board of Directors of Newton Memorial Hospital, where he recently served as Chairman of the Board. Dr. Digby is a graduate of the John's Hopkins University and the John Hopkins University School of Medicine.  He trained in pediatrics at the University of North Carolina -- Chapel Hill. While at UNC, Dr. Digby was awarded a prestigious Wyeth Pediatric Fellowship. Before founding Sussex County Pediatrics, he served as a pediatrician in the United States Army Medical Corp.
Charles Dakake, Jr., M.D.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Dakake is a graduate of Rutgers University College of Pharmacy and of the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey, where he received the Upjohn Award for Academic Excellence.  He served both his internship and residency in pediatrics at the U.C.L.A. Center for Health Sciences. He is the past Chief of Pediatrics at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ.
Mahafarin Peters, M.D.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and of the Newton Memorial Hospital staff, Dr. Peters also serves on the hospital’s Infectious Diseases and Pharmacy Committees and is a member of its Medical Education Committee. A graduate of Shiraz University Medical School, she served her pediatric residency at Boston City Hospital.

James H. Porter, M.D.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a past Chief of Pediatrics at Newton Memorial Hospital, Dr. Porter is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and of the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey.  He served his residency in pediatrics at the University Hospital/Children’s Hospital, New Jersey. Dr. Porter is a long-time resident of Sussex County, having graduated from Kittatinny Regional High School.
