County Pediatrics Expands Newton Office
Renovated
facility to feature separate “well” and “sick” waiting
and examination rooms
NEWTON, NJ – Sussex County Pediatrics, one of the most service-oriented
medical groups in the area, is expanding its Newton office, increasing its
current space 45% to 2,900 square feet, it was announced by Thomas E. Digby,
M.D. To be completed in early spring of this year, the renovation will feature
separate waiting and examination rooms for well and sick patients, a new reception
area and nurses station, and a new consultation room for expectant mothers
along with redecorating of the existing office and rooms.
“Ours will be the only pediatric office in northern New jersey to offer
examination rooms that separate our patients who are ill from those that are
well,” Dr. Digby explained. “This will help us to provide an additional
measure of safety and added peace of mind for our patients and their families,
reducing the risk of cross infection, especially with such communicable diseases
as colds and the flu, chicken pox, and strep throat.”
“We realize that this is a growing concern among parents. In fact, some
pediatricians already offer separate waiting rooms; we’ve taken that a
step further by having separate examination rooms, as well.”
With decades of experience attending to countless children, the team of Board
Certified pediatricians at Sussex County Pediatrics offers unmatched accessibility.
The group’s physicians are available 24 hours a day, including office
hours 7 days a week and a phone system that is always manned by a staff member
or answering service.
Sussex County Pediatrics has two conveniently located offices; one at 39
Newton-Sparta Road in Newton, and one at 2B Myrtle Drive in Montague. For
